HENDERSONVILLE, TN- Smith Travel Research has released the first industrywide STR CONDOTEL pipeline report.
Condo hotels- or CONDOTELs- are the hottest topic in lodging development this year and STR has compiled a pipeline database featuring 227 CONDOTEL projects with over 93,425 units in various stages of development.
The project level database will be available without charge to subscribers to the STR/TWR/Dodge Construction Hotel Pipeline in the coming months.
Mark Lomanno, president of STR, said the company is in the process of compiling a nationwide census of existing CONDOTELs followed by a benchmarking system for CONDOTEL demand and revenues.
