CELEBRATION, FL- An international hotel developer plans to develop a five-story, 240-unit condominium hotel here with one- and two-bedroom suites starting at $300,000, the Orlando Business Journal reported.
The Celebration Co. says it has sold 10 acres of commercial land at
Celebration Place to Mona Lisa at Celebration LLC, a subsidiary of the Mona Lisa Group and Mona Lisa Hotels & Residences. The hotel will be integrated with the existing commercial office space at Celebration Place, located on U.S. Highway 192 near Interstate 4.
In a prepared statement, Matthew Kelly, president of The Celebration
Co., says the developer will follow Celebration's architectural guidelines and include amenities such as up to 5,000 square feet of
reception and meeting space, high-speed Internet access, a full-service restaurant, an outdoor pool and a rooftop observation deck designed to attract businesses within Celebration, the Orlando Business Journal reports.
Mona Lisa currently has three other projects under construction in the
French Alps and in the south of France and has been involved in
development in Europe and the Caribbean since 1990.
Construction is expected to begin in early 2006.
