SUNNYVALE, CA- Millennium Hotels & Resorts is set to build a $150 million combination condominium-hotel complex on its sprawling Four Points Sheraton complex in Sunnyvale, according to published reports.
The two-year project scheduled to begin Jan. 16 includes tearing down the 347-room Four Points Sheraton located on 8.83 acres and replacing it with 244 condominium units in four seven-story buildings and an eight-story, 253-room Millennium branded hotel.
Silicon Valley has a number of these one-and-two-story hotel complexes that are attracting the interest of developers, says Anwar Elgonemy, vp of San Francisco-based Jones Lang LaSalle, a real estate investment advisory firm.
