MAMMOTH LAKES, CA- Intrawest has held its first release of The Westin Monache, Mammoth and all 141 condominium suites offered for sale sold out in less than four hours, ranging in price from $405,000 to just under $1.3 million. Construction on the landmark property has begun and the hotel is scheduled to open during the summer of 2007.
The Westin Monache will be the first full-service, luxury hotel brand in the Mammoth region and one of the first flagged 'condominium hotel' concepts to open in California. It is the third Intrawest-developed Westin after Le Westin Resort and Spa at Tremblant, Quebec, and Westin Trillium at Blue Mountain, Ontario.
The second and final release of The Westin Monache comprising 89 condominium suites will come later this year.
