HONOLULU (AP) _ A Florida investment firm wants to build a 400-to-500 unit luxury condominium hotel at Ko Olina resort on Oahu's Leeward side.
Miami-based Crescent Heights wants to brand the complex with the Donald Trump name.
The 16-story condominium hotel would be built on eight acres next to the Marriott Ko Olina Beach Club time-share.
The project would be the second hotel at Ko Olina.
As a so-called condotel, the investment firm would sell units to individual investors who would have an option use the property as a residence or as a hotel room.
Crescent Heights expects to sell studio, one-bedrooms and two-bedroom units this summer.
Construction is expected to be finished in 2008.
